When Lucent Technologies needed a better method of removing heat from their cell network amplifier circuits, Niagara Thermal Products designed a heat exchanger that handled the high heat transfer performance requirements of the circuit using a specialized, folded fin brazed heat sink design.


About Us

History

Niagara Thermal's roots in the heat transfer industry date back over 35 years to the establishment of Kintex, a specialty manufacturer of fin for the thermal management industry. When Niagara Development & Manufacturing (NDM) began designing and producing heat transfer products in 1982, Kintex became its primary provider of fin.

Combining Kintex's broad fin manufacturing capability with NDM's engineering design expertise, the company quickly established itself as an industry leader in custom designed and manufactured heat transfer products. In 2000, the companies merged, and came together under one roof as the NDM/Kintex Company. Niagara Thermal operates today at its ISO 9001:2000 certified Niagara Falls, New York, location.
